Ecological Survey and Advice

 

The Partnership's assessment and audit skills are underpinned by full ecological survey, interpretation and analysis capability and we have considerable expertise in undertaking ecological surveys in marine/estuarine, freshwater and terrestrial environments

Our staff are highly experienced in a range of standard field survey protocols including: marine and freshwater invertebrate and fish population surveys; water quality assessment; Phase 1 and 2 Habitat Surveys; National Vegetation Classification; River Habitat and River Corridor Surveys. In addition the evaluation and control of development impacts on protected species and habitats is a particular strength.

An extensive array of equipment is maintained in-house to support these services including: benthic grabs/corers, epibenthic beam trawls, electric-fishing equipment and water quality loggers.
