Ecological Survey and Advice
The Partnership's assessment and audit skills are underpinned by full ecological survey, interpretation and analysis capability and we have considerable expertise in undertaking ecological surveys in marine/estuarine, freshwater and terrestrial environments
Our staff are highly experienced in a range of standard field survey protocols including: marine and freshwater invertebrate and fish population surveys; water quality assessment; Phase 1 and 2 Habitat Surveys; National Vegetation Classification; River Habitat and River Corridor Surveys. In addition the evaluation and control of development impacts on protected species and habitats is a particular strength.
An extensive array of
equipment is maintained in-house to support these services including: benthic
grabs/corers, epibenthic beam trawls, electric-fishing equipment and water
quality loggers.
